Powering a small A/C unit with an inverter?

Short version: The A/C unit requires far more current than is available form your battery. The inverter cannot create current that is not there. Simple physics. Just because you have an orange does not mean you can make two gallons of orange juice from it. Electricity is a mystery to many. A basic understanding is not all that difficult to cultivate for someone of average intelligence.
