Corneal Collagen Cross-linking treatment charges?

corneal collagen crosslinking isn't approved by the FDA yet, so it isn't an option unless you are a person who gets the procedure done during its clinical trials. since it isn't FDA approved then it's going to be very expensive, insurance will not help at all. i have heard cost of 8,000-15,000 but never of 25,000. i think that it's possible to get the procedure done while it's going through trials, but you would have to look online & see which offices & doctor's are needing people. i wouldn't worry about the price too much.. it will be worth the money to save your vision before needing a cornea transplant.
